Really shouldn’t be a left or right issue. Same as alcohol.

There is a documentary about this and how the lobbyists bought and paid for alcohol to be legal and pot to not be legal.
I don't care about pot being legal, but people should be held accountable for actions while smoking.

It's funny how public perception becomes reality. There are a lot of issues that shouldn't divide us as a nation, but people that benefit from controlling these substances have narrative control.
The mainstream media is owned by a handful of corporations. These entities decide how to manipulate the people. They are still deciding how best to benefit from the legalization of marijuana. The socio economic and political affects are still being explored.

Yeah, my only issue used to be the potential for doubling the amount irresponsible drunk/high drivers on the road.
But then the phone-related distracted-driver accidents were added, which far outnumber the percentage of drinkers & smokers combined on the road, so weed prohibition has a relatively weak case now.
