What good fortune is this, and will it continue?

Someone please explain it to me like I'm 5.

Global economy is shitty so oil prices have come down from over $100/bbl to just north of $70.

That location has to be cheaper due to the fact that those pumps are a pain to get in & out of!

Seasonal change in demand AND supply. With holidays behind us, refineries are more efficient and year end vacation days have been spent. End of January and beginning of February is a slow travel time, since schools are in session and most desirable winter US vacation destinations become more accessible by plane.

I haven't read any news headlines recently, except NOLA crime and Binden blunders, so I had no idea.

Got to use the ones on the outside not the ones right in front the store.

Yeah, it needs to dip another 20 cents at least before I'll feel happy again. I was paying 2.35-2.49 2 or 3 months ago. Seeing it hit 3.49 again last month was gut wrenching, especially with the $5-$6 egg situation. This shite is simply ridiculous!

It wasn't overnight, was over the last week. Think they realized we noticed the 40¢ jump the previous 3 weeks

No, it was overnight here. I stopped by and drove passed the 3 gas stations/stores yesterday. The one I gassed up at was 3.15 yesterday. It was 2.99 today. Some situation with the other two.

No, their plan is not working. I'd simply feel more comfortable with current situation if I saw another 20 cent drop. As I said, I was paying 2.49 a few months ago. That is where I'd like to see it. 2.49 or below. Just over 2 years ago we were paying 1.90-2.10. Those were the good Ole days.
