Only real concern I have on the team is infield. You can have amazing pitching but if you have no infield they're going to make them look worse than they are. LSU wasn't exactly great there last year.

That said, LSU's roster looks like it has a ton of power pitchers that can just throw heaters right past contact. How many guys in the bullpen can toss 95+ MPH fastballs? Seems like a lot.

No doubt. Have to make the ground ball outs. Can’t give good teams extra outs at any level

Jay seems pretty happy about the defensive progress of
White and Thompson, so there is some optimism.

I also think the power bats of this team benefits us in a pitchers duel. We don't need a ton of hits to score points.
