Imho, the US is almost exclusively row-crop land where capital is farmed. Any policies that impede that are there merely to placate and appease. It’s about corporate and financial-industry power and regulatory capture. Corpocracy and oligarchy. People who know this tend to divide into two camps on how to address it: 1) socialize more industries and empower the government to operate them in the best interests of the people, or 2) decentralize more and return the power to individuals, small business, and local government. But most politicians just work within the current framework and don’t give a shite about actually improving our world.

A lot of truth here.

The current status is technocracy/corporatism. Individuals are a dying breed.

I agree with this but I would add that human potential is the capital that is farmed here. Production, innovation, invention, etc. - that's what the masses represent to those that operate the conspiracy because they have controlled the planet's resources for a long time.
