Not a whole lot of insight other than it is stunningly beautiful when the weather is good. You should dedicate some time to learning the history, as you will enjoy the boat tour much more if you do so.

Headed to London and spending a couple of days in Cambridge to see the sights

Check out the hidden gems of the Round Church (Do their walking tour which gets you into 3 colleges which saves money and is the best tour in Cambridge), Mill Pond Pub (most tourists go to the Eagle which isn’t bad to pop in for the historic significance), get the best scotch egg at The Pint Shop, Gin Lab on Greene St., see the Wren Library for Newton’s principles of mathematics (his discovery of gravity), drink at the Fort ST George in the afternoon if it’s a nice day. I helped the Dean at Clare College get his job. It’s a beautiful college so visit there. Make sure to visit college chapels since it’s free most of them. You can request it with the Potters at the front gate. Just don’t sound like such a tourist, promise you’d like a quick look, and try to be witty.

Definitely visit King’s college chapel.

Student services are very limited in terms of student counseling. The place is a pressure cooker and is not sympathetic to mental health.

She is a professional so get into a writing group that helps with keeping her accountable to finishing her dissertation. The problem is that the social life bleeds into her academic life and that’s when students lose their way and fall behind.

If your family is Christian then seek out Mark Smith, the Dean of Clare. Very trusted man and well respected and accessible. He knows what I’m talking about.

Beware of seasonal depression. Winter sunset is 3:45 pm and sunrise at 8:30 am. Counter that with exercise. Join a gym with indoor swimming. Join the row team.
