People have been shitting on the rest of the team during this collapse. IMO The BI injury and more so the Zion injury is the full and only cause of the collapse. Guys are tired. CJ is tired from carrying this team early and needs some rest. Other injuries have happened and players have been asked to play roles that they are not used to due to injuries. BI’s return so far as been a monumental failure. Can he turn it around? Sure. But to this point he has been the relief some other players have needed even if it would have been short minutes. The team held things together until Zion came back and Zion was a beast. The team said ok let’s do this then looked around and Zion was out again. There is only so long that you can play short handed and even more so short handed without your 2 biggest stars.

Ok don’t laugh at what I am about to say because it looks so bleak right now.

If this team can figure out a way to go 3-3 before the all star break. At the all star break, players rest and Zion actually returns there maybe a chance to get back to 4 seed based on schedule.

In the 23 games after the break, the Pels only play 4 teams that are currently more than 3 games over .500, the play 11 games to teams under .500, and of those 11, 5 are more than 10 games under .500.

If they can win 15 of those that would get them to 44 wins. In this year, that might get them in the top 6.

I agree. People have been dogging the role players during this losing streak when they've been playing out of position and trying to carry the weight of 2 stars being out. Role players arent supposed to be able to carry a team this long. A few games here and there, yeah sure but almost a whole season? Hell no. People are looking at someone to get mad at so the players that are actually playing are easy targets when the players that arent playing are the real problem
