Aren't most of those people trying to move up? It shouldn't be surprising that the pay at Panama City or Mobile, AL isn't great. But if you are good and work your way up there's money to be made. If your market is only $300k people I don't see why the pay would be great? As said I'm sure the pay in the top 10 markets is just fine, not to mention all of the national shows make bank.
