no but our defense has been a factor in some of our losses

Unlikely. However, if RP had grown up (or had achieved whatever passes for maturity in your average 20-year old) I think we would likely be 7-2, and maybe 8-1. 'Bama would have been a "W" almost certainly, and UGA would have been at worst down to the wire. Florida would likely still have been a loss, albeit by a lseesr margin. The defense's issues are simply development of inexperienced players at key positions. The QB issue is total inexperience because the next guy in the pipeline of talent let the team down.
