He isnt the only one.
I still have some posters bookmarked from last year talking about how imminent a complete russian victory was. I’ll be checking in on those here in the next few months. I believe atleast one poster has ghosted the site and no longer posts.

Good idea. Bump this thread as well. Say, by May 5.
If Ukraine can put the fighter jets received from Poland and others to good use, they might even be able to go on another successful offensive.
That said, my preferred (less bloody and cheaper!!) solution would be to provide Putin with a billion dollars, immunity from prosecution, a fancy yacht, and an island in the Mediterranean in exchange for him leaving Russia forever.
In addition, another billion would be needed to spread among his fellow war criminals to exit the scene.
Of course this would be politically very difficult for Biden and other Western leaders making highly unlikely. But it's a totally rational and civilized solution.
Putin would probably be assonated if Russia loses. That is likely his prime motive at present and will govern his thinking to the end. Bribing him to just leave would be the best off ramp possible.
