I'll never forget when I was in 11th or 12th grade, this big dude comes in, real cool dude and he's just bawling his eyes out. Turns out, people were fricking with him because he was mixed. This was in high school in BR.
I'm not saying it's the same experience, but I imagine it can be difficult as a young kid. As humans, we tend to stick with people like us, for the most part, although that's rightly becoming unraveled as we progress as a society. That said, if you're mixed, who do you fit in with at that age?

With the way people are calling Black first over White or any other race. Why not just say half Black and half White or any other race? So, people must choose side? How was the male and female combination being settle?
