It is indeed funny and will always remain so. But in reality are they hurting anyone? Are there kids involved and are they OK? If that ain't an issue more power to them....god bless. If it works for them and does not impact anyone beyond making folks uncomfortable, a choice on that person's part, what is the harm?

I worked with a guy who "transitioned". He had some serious issues but was a damned good engineer who did a very good job. He was eventually ran off because he transitioned and his boss simply couldn't cope....some of it was legit in that some customers couldn't cope and it was definitely impacting business BUT the fact that his boss couldn't cope was the bigger issue because the customers were satisfied with the product they just didn't like the delivery method. They never indicated that they would stop trading with the company but I am sure that was a concern. That man's life has gone downhill from an accepted perspective...he basically retired and moved to Mexico and dropped out completely. I have been told by people who have kept in touch with him that he is happy but I wonder. I hope he is but who knows.
