To be fair, that was basically Damone Clark in 2020 and 1/2 of 2021. Always great effort...that was generally spent running down guys from behind. Then, the coaching staff was freed from the shackles of having to run Orgeron's ridiculous fan-fiction defense and were able to put Clark in position to succeed. All of a sudden he became an unblockable monster living in opponent's backfields.

Now, OSU's DC wasn't as dumb as Orgeron, but it could be an instance where House understands exactly how to use him and we see him have a great year. It took House a few weeks to fully understand what he had in Perkins and how best to utilize him. But once he did.....
