Really?

What type of food do you typically order?

Thai, Viet, American, pizza…you name it.

Our house is more or less the hub for our friends. Fall or winter? Wine is flowing. Summer time? In the pool and drinking. About half the time, it’s planned and I’m cooking. Other times, it’s impromptu so we will order delivery.

Delivery is easy, fast and we aren’t concerned about the additional expense. None of our party has to drive to go pick up food. We tip well and have yet to have an issue. In fact, the drivers usually go above and beyond when dealing with custom orders or substitutions. I’ve actually been pretty impressed.

I typically use Favor or UberEats. No problems. DoorDash a few times and they’ve been fine, as well.

We also have Drizly in our area for booze delivery. Some rando stops by and wants some weird arse seltzer or something else? Drizly has it here in 30 minutes for a nominal fee.

Like everything, it’s not for everyone but works well for us.
