Burrow and Jefferson named finalists for NFL MVP

along with Mahomes, hurts, and josh allen.
Burrow and Jefferson being considered in the top 5 finalists for the award in their third year really put into perspective how dominant that offense was. Two tigers up for the award is a great boost for our program too.

He may finish 2nd, but Mahomes will win it going away, and probably rightfully so. It’s a regular season award—nothing Joe is doing in the playoffs matters. Relative to MVP, that is. He is setting himself to maybe be the favorite going into next year, though.
Jefferson being a finalist as a WR is wild, though. Hell of an achievement even if he finishes 5th.

People talk about how many HOFer the 01 Canes had. 19 LSU will have a few too, its just a waiting game.

Burrow has the effect of making people forget he's doing what he's doing at the f-ing BENGALS.
3rd year at a bottom feeder. One trip to the super bowl so far, another is entirely possible.
This isn't even a discussion.

They're going to give it to Mahomes but Burrow had a really good end to the season. If it wasn't for the first 3-4 weeks he might've had a chance at winning the MVP and getting the 1st overall seed in the AFC.

The legend of the 2019 season just continues to grow.

Orgeron was great at talent evaluation.
2019 What a year. Will there ever be another like it?

Disagree. 2019 was a great year where a number of things came together and resulted in the greatest season in college football history but lets not get carried away here. He is a great recruiter leave it at that.

Yeah, Mahomes is the "old guy in the club" now.
Joe and Jalen are a combined 50 years old.
If things work out right, we could see Joe and Jalen facing off almost until the 2040s, certainly mid/late 2030s. :letthatsinkin:
