An idea just came to me.
Kia bait car. Get a Kia. Install a micro switch in the colum that activates when then the lower colum cover is removed. This arms the 7" steel spike under the seat. After ignition start. A timer starts. After 30 seconds a 7" spike riding in a captive shock system deploys pushed by a spring. It impaled the driver and retracts and restarts timer. If seat is no longer sat in the spike will stay in seat.
After perp leaves. Collect vehicle, reset and put a new seat cover on.
I also would like to get a Surburban. Fill every seat with someone with an AR. Wait in a parking lot at a pelicans game. Wait for robbers.
Though sadly both of the above would probably be more frowned upon than the original crime.
