When I first started watching the Braves in 82 on Superstation TBS it was Skip Carey Pete Van Wieren & Ernie Johnson. Man what a team they were. And Ernie always brought his big fish net to catch foul balls. Btw it wasn't long afterwards that current Yankee play by play man John Sterling joined the crew.

Oh yeah we remember that POS....did Astro games forever so many folks around here remember him.

But before that he was a Cubs play-by-play guy. The Cubs kinda pushed him aside for Harry Carey which proved to be one of the best business decisions the Cubs ever made, but Milo was bitter about it for the rest of his life, never missing a moment to take a shot at the Cubs and Harry during Astro broadcasts and blasted Harry for a whole chapter in his book.

frick that a-hole. He is universally hated by longtime Atlanta Braves fans because of the shite he pulled with his contract when Hank Aaron was chasing the HR record.

He got it written into his contract that he would call every Aaron at bat until the record was broken. Genius move to be fair, but it cheesed off a bunch of fans who loved Ernie Johnson Sr, who was the primary PBP guy at that time.
