Kyler Murray

What is considered reasonable trade value for Murray in a dynasty super flex?

That is awfully low it feels like for him. It’s a hard player to assign value to

That site absolutely sucks based on actual value
If you really want to utilize it, take advantage of people who treat it as gospel

Any other sites you use? I play in a 12 team league. I took over a team after someone left after 5 years. Trying to build from the ruins

I wouldn’t be selling Murray right now. His value will go up after you take the brunt of his injury absence
Godwin
Wilson
Kittle
Ridley
Hopkins
Dillion (not great, came on strong)
Your team is too good to flip, IMO. No one is trading 2023 picks from my experience.
Do you have any draft picks?
It sucks that your QBs are influx
You might have a good opportunity to trade for 2024 picks if you’re okay with kicking the can down the road.

Agree with Verm. What are the starters (QB 2RB 3WR TE 2FLEX SF?) and total roster size, is it standard 1PPR scoring, and do you have any picks?

Seems accurate to me. He’s not worth more than a high 1st. He won’t play for half of next season roughly, potentially won’t be back to normal until 2024 season. Concerns around his franchise going into full rebuild mode and lacking weapons with Hopkins leaving. They aren’t getting Payton so his coach will be a toss up

He’s worth what someone will pay
Find me a late 1st rounder who is capable of scoring 25+ points a game
It doesn’t matter that he’s hurt for 2023. If you believe he’s going to play again and be a solid QB, I would need a top 6 pick.
Now, would I pay a top 6 pick? Hell no. I don’t want anything to do with Murray.

Notice I said “he’s not worth MORE than a high 1st”. A high 1st would be fair value

I wouldn’t sell for a high first. He just had his worst season and still scored >22 PPG (6pt passing TDs). I don’t know how things get worse from Klingsbury.

Neither me. I'd need an early 1st plus a bridge QB with QB2 upside like Mac Jones. It's Superflex.
I'm not trying to win the value Olympics, I'm trying to win dynasty titles.

Murray has been heavily reliant on success as a rusher and throwing to Hopkins. No longer has Hopkins, and his next offense could reduce his rushing load by design, to reduce health risks, or both
Plus in a true devils advocate position, you can make the argument that Kliff was hired to be the perfect HC for Kyler, and that pairing absolutely failed. We’re blaming Kliff right now, but we know there are some red flags with Kyler. History may come to tell that Kyler is much more at fault than we’re crediting
Edit: and again, you’re probably throwing away 2023 from Kyler. If you’re trying to win in 2023, that’s going to be a problem. You can say “this is dynasty, 1 year doesn’t matter” but more than half of teams are trying to compete for a ship every year and next year will be no different

Looking at 4 pt passing TD since that format favors him as a rusher:
- Kyler finished 7th in PPG at QB. Good finish.
- he was 1.5 PPG behind Lamar at QB6
- he was 0.6 PPG ahead of Kirk Cousins, who finished QB13
Looking at 6 pt, I have him at 20.8 PPG. You might be looking at our points per 1st down league SoIt.
- Kyler finished 10th in PPG
- less than 1 PPG separates him and Danny Jones at QB15 (throwing out Sam Howell’s 1 game)
Are you throwing out his injury game? That could be our difference

I usually use 6 pt TDs, in 4 pt TDs Kyler has higher advantage over the field

That’s it Upperdecker, total points divided by 10 games since he went out early in his 11th game.

You need to get an early to mid 1st in 2023 plus a midlevel QB or a 2024 1st.
This is superflex QBs ain't cheap
