I have used a MoMarsh and Rig ‘en Right, both have not lasted two seasons. Seams break and camo material separates from neoprene. Both vests showed early wear on first use. Bangladeshis need to learn how to sew better.

Dog is HWP. The vests fit the dog. Not hunting timber.

And I deploy it less than 10 times a year.

Anyone have one they like that has lasted?

Bought the Momarsh and have used it 3 years maybe a half dozen times each season. Still works as it should but agree on that it should last longer.

Haven't used it but have heard good things about Carhart's vest.

Is the vest to help como the dog? Or to keep it warm? Both?

I've used the same Avery vest for 5 years. It is a little frayed where I cut the holes but has held up perfectly other than that. It's also the recommended vest on Gundogsupply.com LINK

I’m in the market too. I’d like one with some kind of external handles, not just the slits on the back.

I had a “Hardcore” brand about 8 years ago but can’t find the brand again.

Have the Avery vest now for something like 8 seasons I think. The handle on the zipper pull broke off but everything else has seemed to be built to last. I made a makeshift tab on the zipper to pull on and it's still holding up now at the end of this season, probably good to go for next.

I have used a velcro closed vest and a zipper vest. The zipper closure is better, more secure but make sure its a large tooth zipper, mud etc clogs small zippers
