We are booked for a week in Maui in the middle of March. Wife, me and 10 yr old daughter. Staying at the Hyatt Regency. Any recommendations for itineraries, tours or restaurants (mamas is booked up)I’m hoping to at least do a whale viewing tour.

My wife wanted to do a Luau and I reluctantly agreed but it was fun.

Haleakala (House of the Sun) for sunrise. Sky is amazing.

Thought I would also mention something on the Big Island even though you will be in Maui. If you can manage a night snorkel on Big Island to watch Manta Rays. It was so much fun watching these enormous creatures swim all around you.

When I've gone to Maui it was peak whale season.

I would go snorkel Molokini and it practically doubled as a whale watching tour.

2 cents to save some bucks.

Eta....there are a lot of threads on Maui. A simple search will help out. Some of us have lots of good tips and not everyone will see this or waste time to post it all again for the 5th time.
