I'm not an ophthalmologist but i am Presbyterian so I'm around a bunch of really old rich people. This fact saved me from losing sight in one eye due to a retinal tear. Anyway, they all, every single one, wish they'd gotten Cataract surgery a decade earlier than they did. If you're an OT baller you might consider going for the lens that allows for near sighted and farsighted correction...accomodating intraocular lens (aioc) is what I think its called.

Wait to age 65 because Medicare will pay for your cataract surgery. Medicare will not pay for LASIK or refractive correction so you don’t have to wear glasses.
