re: Tell Me About your Dad

Currently 84 and dying slowly at home. Stage 4 Lung cancer, dementia and Alzheimer's. Never thought I would want him to die but I do....only to ease his suffering. I know I'll wish for one more day the second he goes. Hard worker, honest to a fault. Retired at 55, travelled the world with my mom after his hard worked paid off. Tough father who rarely said I love you(His generation). Came to most all of my games and practice(Hung out with his friends at the concession stand drinking beer).

Taught me what it means to be a man of my word, work hard everyday of my life and never look back.
