Would using Jayden Daniels make more sense to you? QBs usually aren’t “guaranteed” jobs when they transfer unless you are a guy like Caleb Williams. But they transfer knowing they are favored & it’s their job to lose.
That’s the only pitch that works for a guy leaving their old school because they aren’t playing.

Yes, we know that quarterbacks are going to transfer to schools where they have a better shot at playing. My point is that he isn't going to automatically be the "leader in the clubhouse" to start at most big time schools, because he is young and inexperienced. At a smaller school, yes I think he could probably get that assurance.
