Anyone know if disability SS is taxed?

SSI; looks like not taxed.
SSDI; may be taxed

The programs are about the same as far as what it takes to be declared disabled. SSDI is for folks who have worked enough to have insured status, and their benefits will be based on their earnings record. SSI is for folks who’ve not worked enough or at all, but are disabled. They get a low, minimum monthly payment. Even kids can get SSI.
