1954 Chevrolet 4-door, not this Bel Air side trim chrome package but similar. A tank of a car, vv heavy. No power steering or power brakes. All mechanical.

After a big rig ran over grandparents on Airline Hwy around 1972 (in the 1954 Chevy, flipped the car a few times), they bought this 1969 Chevelle sedan, 250 straight 6. All mechanical. Heavy as half of a tank to drive, no power steering or brakes. Sold it years ago.

Then came John Henry, the 1976 Chevette. A hand-me-down ride. 250,000 miles, hole in the floor board, burned oil, and leaked coolant, but John Henry kept going. Didn't look like much, but he never failed. Strong as an iron hammer. [/img]
Talking story about autos. Owned a couple of Fords, meh, then a Datsun 280ZX, then a Toyota - then settled on Honda.
