Get in your stand right before the rain lets up and you have a chance. Last year I hunted (exactly where I’m hunting right now) over a food plot and got out there at 8am after a hard rain
Killed a nice 10 point about 45 minutes later.
I like it because it dampens your scent and makes you quiet in the woods

I’ve heard some say our scent molecules cling to damp air even more so. Whatever is true, I’ll hunt in any condition.
Totally agree about the quiet aspect, I love when leaves and twigs don’t crunch as loudly.
