2 weeks ago I woke up contemplating leaving the house or not bc it called for light rain. Well I went and got drizzled on all the way to the stand. Got in stand and it started pouring. I thought to myself I’ve never seen deer move in a heavy down pour. Soon after I look down one on my lanes and see a nice buck about 150 yards and I try a neck shot to not have to track and missed. Needless to say I haven’t seen much over my years of hunting in the heavy rain but just like that day you just never know. Tomorrow is calling for heavy rains we’ll before daylight so I doubt I go but if you can take getting to the stand give it a go.

I killed one in November, during the rut here, as a big front was just done pouring through. I also sat in the rain all day today and didn't see jack.
