In....my brother and I showed livestock(market steers & pigs) from about 1998 to 2010.
I actually learned a ton of things in ag class that I still use regularly today. Small engine repair, welding, wood working, plumbing, etc. From what I understand my old high school only offers a neutered version of ag class now and they basically teach none of those things.

I learned a ton from FFA.
Raising livestock I also feel like at a lvl of a senior vet student. You go and do so much with those fckking animals.

Same here.. was in FFA. Brother and I showed pigs. Highest I ever received was second at state with a duroc.
