I'm having trouble worrying about NFL players earning almost 1 million per year as minimum pay and it not being enough. That seems to be more of a systemic issue of them being terrible with money, than it actually...not being enough. If you ride the bench for 3 years at minimum pay, you should never have to worry about money again.

It applies to all NFL players, regardless of their level of pay.

Side note: the NFL will 100% take care of Damar Hamlin if he cannot play/earn a living outside of football. It's only good PR.

Way to ignore the most important part of my post.

How about you go receive the injury this kid just got, and then I'll hand you $500K and tell you to survive the rest of your life on it, including having to pay your medical bills?
