I remember watching this scene in my high school English class as a freshman. I don’t think Ms Jones had properly previewed the film.

Haha same. Our teacher realized what was happening, meant to FF but hit rewind, then paused it right on time. We were dying.

I remember watching it too. We watched it my senior year. I was one of two students who was still 16 as a senior and had to get my mom to sign a permission slip b/c it was Rated R.

ETA: Nevermind. That was MacBeth that was rated R we watched Senior year. I'm a stupid head.

When we watched it in the 9th grade in 1995 or 96, my English teacher knew the scene was coming and fast forwarded through it. I think he recorded it on HBO or Showtime. Fortunately, the teacher had a newer VCR that had a smooth scan fast forward. We still saw the nudity in Honors English even when he started playback it was frozen on the scene because he didn’t go far enough on the tape.

No one said anything back then, now if it happened you would have the school board, sheriff’s office, attorney general’s office, and the FBI investigating.
