Great article about Dyson, the upcoming games over the next month will be a good opportunity for him to showcase his defensive prowess and more importantly get a bit more aggressive offensively.

Just curious, given that many here think Dyson is already as good defensively as Herb is and has a higher upside than Herb offensively...why is WG not giving Dyson more minutes?

I think Herb is better, but to answer your question, the kid is 19. Bring him along slowly.

Coach Green is old school in that he not only makes players earn minutes but is hesitant to take away minutes, particularly in the first half of the season. We saw this last year with Temple and Sato. Dyson is contending for minutes with CJ, Devonte, Naji, Jose, Herb and TM3.

I believe this month will help clear up the log jam concerning rotational minutes heading into the playoff positioning push. Just my opinion, but I believe Herb absolutely remains a starter, he generates more offense than realized with his defense that kick-starts the Pels transition game and off-ball movement in offensive sets.
