The same goes for Herb, and increasingly I think Herb may not be as difficult to retain(if we want to) as once thought. As good a defender as he and Dyson are, you really need the right roster with a lot of offense to utilize them without hurting the offensive side of the ball.

The fact the Pels took Dyson at #8 tells me they know exactly what their problem is...regarding how to become a serious contender.

If you ever want to get totally discouraged...list the Pels first 8 or so players come playoff time BY DEFENSIVE ability. Then compare it to just about any other serious contender. It's why the Celtics are most folks' pick to win it all. But, feel free to compare the Celtics/Bucks/76ers/Grizz/Warriors and Suns with the Pels, defensively. Then, take Herb or "future Dyson" off the Pels' crunch time lineup and it's pretty much a joke. The Pels know they have a huge problem in this area...even though many other folks don't.
