Wait…what am I lecturing people on?
They all know why it’s different, they just really really really want to be able to say the N word and not get in trouble for it. For some of them this is a big issue.
The hilarious part is they could say it whenever they want but they’re too scared.

Wow, you really are a racist.
What you are saying is that black people lack the coping skills to peacefully deal with insults, so they will immediately resort to violence upon hearing the utterance of the word.
Do you have any idea how racist you really just admitted to being?

Seems like a reasonable want. Can you think of any other word that due to social pressure, people are not allowed to say at the cost of a job or some other life changing event at the high end of possible consequences?
Shouting fire in a movie theater? Nope. It can be done because we’re smart enough to respond to fire alarms and smoke instead of speech.
Seems to me the goal we should be pursuing is to have a society that’s not as sensitive to slurs. Asians seem to have adapted well, as have Italians. Even recent African migrants can handle slurs. Why can’t so many American born black people? Why are they so sensitive ? Some of their ancestors may have been slaves, but they get triggered by a slur? What’s the advantage of being so soft and sensitive that other migrant groups haven’t seen yet?
Maybe you should realize that what oppresses black Americans is actually ghetto culture. Other ethnic groups embraced a similar culture for generations until they collectively realized it was keeping them down. What’s taking black Americans so long to realize the same thing?
