Every time I plant peppers the first harvest will have large peppers and following sets get smaller and smaller. Currently seeing it with my shishitos and big Jim's. Is there any way to prevent this?

Pumpkin and watermelon vines. I can barely walk around them.
Will this be the first pumpkin of the year?
I’ve been going out every couple of days with a pair of tweezers and plucking off all of the SVB eggs I can find. I know I will never get all of them, so I can’t tell if they are still coming around laying or if it eggs I missed before. But, there seems to be fewer and fewer each time. The vines are rooting at the nodes so that should help. All I can do is keep spraying and plucking off eggs as I find them and hope for the best. It worked last year.
We got some much needed rain yesterday. Right before the rain came it was a bit cooler so I got as much work done as I can doing some cleanup. I pulled the eggplant and remaining tomatoes, and started doing some weeding. Also went out this morning before church. Still got a lot of work to do. I really neglected the garden over the past couple of months cause we’ve been so busy. So I’m gonna keep working at it to whip it back into shape.

Have you side dressed with any fertilizer? That and some light pruning may help.
