as the most valuable offensive player in the history of the NFL. He's that good.

how many pair of kneepads you gone through so far bro?

Reggie Bush could run faster than Chuck Norris with a fat Ho on his back.

He's probably the 3rd most valuable offensive player on his own team.

You see that's what starts a 15 page thread arguing over Reggie. No one said anything about him being a great "running back" . He's more than just a running back, obviously. Everyone needs to get over the fact of him not rushing for high average and not bull dozing line backers. He won't ever do that, but he's still the most dynamic player in the league.
He will be lucky to be in the league in two years unless we get someone that knows how to run block.

I love Reggie, but if we had someone like AP who was consistently healthy, we would easily be the most feared offensive team in the league.

brandon jacobs, willie parker, l.t., adrian peterson, etc... you know, real runningbacks, not slot receivers trying to play runningack.

quote:Dude they have Deuce to pound the ball. Reggie doesn't need to. LT and Reggie play the same role but LT obviously is better between the tackles. The saints won't run the ball over 30 times a game so why get a top name running back that is limited to running the ball. The Saint's do have the number one offense in the league, they must be doing something right.

Didn't mean to imply that AP was not healthy. I just meant that we have a power back of a similar mold (Deuce) who is not.
