This doesn’t have to be a complete sobriety thing

I think it’s okay to not go completely dry but make the effort to limit alcohol intake and it you go the whole month dry then great but there’s no reason to beat yourself up if you have alcohol at times

I think it’s about the effort and intent

This isn’t a super hard challenge for me this year (a few years ago I was a heavy drinker). I just figured a lot of people are looking for fitness challenges in the beginning of the year, need to lose 5-10lbs, and alcohol is pure junk calories.

I will say that after 3 days I already notice that I am better rested than even having a couple beers. Not much change on the scale yet even at a pretty deep deficit though.

I’m switching from beer to bourbon. Does that count?
