The ATT chat folks have been very helpful. They are empowered to issue credits, change your bill, and shite like that.

He is a Verizon rep but handles individual business type and friends accounts. I don't have Verizon fwiw. He couldn't match my t mobile deal I have when I talked to him about switching and Verizon is sketchy at my work.
