Only if you blow your pipes with an air compressor… otherwise, this is a recipe for disaster.

I opened the lowest taps on the property, then shut off at the street. The lowest taps are low enough to drain under the house.

The only line in danger is the one that runs about 18” from the ground up to the house. It’s heavy steel, and I wrapped it.

I actually did less the last time we had a freeze and had no damage.
