Imo, it’s a talent gap issue. The coaching seems to be there, offensive sets are great, defensive intensity seems to be there. We just don’t have the dudes to compete in the SEC. My other concern is we don’t have a ton of dudes coming at the moment. I know the portal can change things quickly. But, Ward and Reed haven’t shown superstar freshman that they were graded to be and we only have two decent signings for next year.

Yes, I agree - this is much more of a concern than our current overall talent relative to the rest of the conference now.

Because in this day and age your most highly recruited freshman need to contribute something right away, roster turnover is so prevalent. These are our two highest rated and to this point they have contributed very little.
