Was there a reason he seemed to be passed on by LSU. He has good size plays in a top notch district....I have been watching but there's been no smoke. I know we can't get them all.

Did he sign today? Maybe he will wait till February and LSU may look at where the roster is heading into spring ball and make a February offer.

He's probably the 3rd best unsigned Louisiana recruit
WR Omarion Miller - Might be out of the WR market after the Aaron Anderson addition.
OT Caden Jones - We just signed a damn good OT class, & Caden Jones is pretty raw. Doubt we have interest.
DT Kyran Bourda - Based on position & need...he might be the most wanted.

He seems like a guy we should take a flyer on. Unless there are some red flags out there. I have no clue.

My experience is that the Saint Augustine football prospects are overwhelmingly 1) Good character guys, 2) Good students and 3) Good ball players. I would put Mathieu in that category for the most part as well, just had some maturity problems and growing up to do. He never blamed LSU and has been a great ambassador during his time in the NFL.

Miller and Bourda I new did not sign, I thought Jones signed with Sunbelt Billy and the Gators.

Maybe he did. It just wasn't listed on 247. You're probably right.

Well I am probably wrong, I went through the top 50 LA players on 247 composite and I thought he had signed, but maybe he has a prediction to Florida and had not signed yet.

Jones not yet signing is correct. He is not listed as a signee as of 8:30 PM CST. My bad.

He did not sign today. Was going to Neb but with Mickey being fired it’s a no go.

Well I have a feeling lots of those LA players that followed Mickey are not going to stick around in Nebraska. Allen the RB from Monroe, DeColdest from Shreveport I would think will hit the portal. I doubt Miller from Caddo signs with them as well given Mickey's situation.

If he is a SEC caliber player then imo he should be a take if anything just so BK can establish some good will with St. Aug. He won’t be the last prospect to come from there and as other have said they pump out quality human beings as well.

Would not be a bad startegy. We need DT's and Aug has a bunch of talent in the pipeline in the coming years.
