If one thing can be said about Jay, that guy plays fast. He always seemed to come flying in off camera and nailing someone. Tough, hard hitter for sure. I think he will be a good contributor for a pro team.

On my death bed? “What’s that?” my grandson tearily says as he leans close to hear my final words to my family? “Jay Ward…” I whisper.

Yes, I salute him and Bernard-Converse for remaining loyal to the team and fans by playing in the bowl game.

You will eat those words next season when he's balling in the NFL.

Good player, will be drafted higher than people think. Versatile, fast, aggressive, around the ball.
He’s going to have a sneaky good NFL career. Aside from the versatility, he’s going to measure above 6’ and have really long arms. Having a guy who can legit backup your corners, nickel, and safeties in the NFL is so valuable.

Me too! Always remember the players that don't quit on their team before the season is over!

It is folks like this that give 100%, even in bowl games that deserve the number 18!!!

Remember pushing Corey to take him outta Colquitt and he just wouldn’t bite. Finally did at the 11th hour. Jay was all
Kentucky. Worked out for both parties!
Proud of Jay and the effort he always gave. Hope the back half of this year didn’t bite him in the draft.

Not sure what game it was this year, but Jay Ward and the opposing player absolutely CRASHED into each other near the sideline.
It was devastating for both. The announcers barely mentioned it.
My brother and Dad both texted our group asking if we had all see that massive train wreck.
Dude plays with no regard and it’s awesome.
