Ps5 and ps4 - same household

Just got a ps5 and we will still be using the ps4 as well.
What is the process for being able to play mw2, or any online game for that matter, at the same time?
Can I use the same copy?
Do we need to create another playstation account and subscribe to ps plus, or can two consoles share a ps plus account?

Yup yup you can totally use the same copy logged into the same account. Give it a whirl and report back on your success.

You’ll probably have to set up a sub account under family management I think.
The sub account will use the same ps+ so you don’t have to rebuy it or any games and it’s their own separate ID so you can play together.
At least that’s how you used to be able to do that kinda shite

Appreciate the response. Read through that link and looks like you are correct. I'll give that "a whirl".

you can do this. but they don't have to be on your ps plus account. Make sure the PS4 is set as you primary PS4 console and any account on that console will be able to play games that you buy on your ps plus account online
you can also have ps5 set as your primary console. they don't count as the same.
