Bally’s App. Have to back out and launch again to sync audio? Every commercial?

Every time it goes to commercial, audio messes up when the broadcast comes back. I need to back out and re-launch the app for it to sync again. Does anyone else have this issue as well?

I have been watching on Ballys app on a TCL Roku tv since it started. I’ve never had an issue.

Where are you using the app? The app on my Android TV does that shite so now I airplay from my phone and never have that issue.

I haven’t gotten a game to pull up once on either my Apple TV or my RokuTv in a month.
But I’ve never had an issue AirPlaying from my phone. It’s crazy.

Once a game the audio slows to a demonic rate and I have to exit out of the app to fix it. So bizarre.

You’re lucky
The app has a root function that somehow overrides your iPhone settings on automatic airplay(enabling auto airplay, which should never be enabled right now due to issues) and because iOS has an ongoing problem with that feature, it means the Bally’s app’s airplay will likely fail on you if their app roots itself and forces that auto airplay to kick in. Cause the issue is that most TV’s/monitors end up with handshake issues using that feature, meaning things like the moment your phone goes into sleep the feed cuts, or the feed starts blacking out. Right now the only solution I’ve seen is deleting the app and reinstalling. Which is a major PIA
Most developers and apps simply wouldn’t try and force that feature, but you know, Ballys….

That was annoying, especially when the pre game was over and it wouldn't let you switch to the game for several minutes.

I take it back. That has happened a couple of times. One time I just set my phone to not go to sleep since it was on the charging pad.
The other time I just unplugged my AppleTv and it worked fine.
But the fact that the actual TV apps have worked ZERO times for me blows my mind.

Bally's app is awful. Click on the game post scheduled end time and it starts at the beginning. Watch pregame and it doesn't automatically go to the game. Audio always gets out of sync. The worst tv app I have ever experienced. I would just stream the game, but I would rather listen to Joel and AD. I hope the Bally's contract is over soon.
