Prosecuting someone via Logan Act would be on the level of the EBRSO arresting those gay guys a few years ago because "the law is still on the books".

Yeah, I’m not sure how getting a marine freed from a foreign gulag counts an undermining US foreign policy.

Oh I agree and that absolutely should not prosecute him under that. I was simply clarifying the law.
