Do people not realize that there is a probably a 20% portion of the nation that will only vote if Trump is on the ticket? Trump increased vote totals from 2016 by over 10 million in 2020. We all know 80 million did not vote for Biden.
Trump will dominate the primary. But if Trump is smart and he doesn’t let his ego get in the way, he would put Desantis on the ticket with him. That would unify the republican party and bring a ton of independents over. If that happens, I think a Trump/Desantis ticket would be unstoppable.
It would also marry Desantis to Trump and as long as he doesn’t pull a Pence, Trump voters will go for Desantis in the next two election cycles.

Trump could just endorse and campaign for Ron if he actually cares about his country like the cult claims.
Ron has zero interest in being VP.

People have been telling that 20% to piss off for a couple years. You can make claims about Trump's total votes and whine about stolen elections all you want, but deep down I think you all know it's bullshite.

Hitching himself completely to Trump would be a regressive move by DeSantis. He's done a great job of keeping The Cult at a distance, but not so far that all but the most unhinged would vote for him.
