I believe this makes him the first Opelousas High player to get an LSU offer since Devery Henderson (2000 recruiting class). If he comes to LSU I think he'd be the first scholarship player from St Landry Parish since Daniel Francis from Port Barre (2002 recruiting class).

Tharold Simon signed out of Eunice in 2010. Your point stands though. Not a lot of St. Landry Parish players in the last 20 years.

Keon Coleman had an offer if I’m not mistaking but he played for Opelousas Catholic
