This was confirmed by the Travis County Sherriff's Office website, which reported Beard was booked Monday morning at 5:18 a.m. Central Time.
Beard allegedly attempted to strangle someone at a home in Tarrytown, a neighborhood in Austin. It's unclear whose home Beard was at when the alleged strangulation occurred.
