I stopped with my son outside of a cotton field near an old plantation in N LA. He told me stop on the side of the field. He got out and walked about 20 yards in and grabbed several pieces of cotton.

I said, “son, wth are you doing, you are trespassing?”
He looks up at me serious as a heart attack and says, “I don’t see what the big deal is, this stuff is light as hell.”

We both laughed all the way back to the interstate.
