This is the main issue.

On a bigger scale, the problem is people think Nussmeier could have had lsu in the same position JD had lsu going into the A&M game. And that the same results can simply be achieved next year.

JD is prob worth 1.5-2 more wins than Nussmeier, if not more.

Nuss thus far in his career against mostly creampuffs, a bad Ar-Kansas outing and 1 elite defense in garbage time

70/126, 55% completion, 956 yards, 7.6 avg, 6 TOs, 5 TDs, sacked 6x, 124.4 rating.

Boom or bust where looking at those numbers the negatives outweigh the positives due to TOs. The 60-year-old coach knows more than tRant.

Not dunking on Nuss. He can get very good with more development but to anoint him god already is pretty shortsighted.
