He has been playing out if position, he is a safety and an extremely athletic safety, he needs a little more time to develop as a CB but he is obviously one of the best we have rn.

He will be fine and will play in the league not many safeties can do what he does and be that versatile. Hopefully it clicks soon for him and the coaches can get him in his best position

lack of depth throughout the entire defense (secondary specifically) has led to this and other examples.

He’ll be ok. Needs to find a role.

Or he’ll just be a depth piece, which is ok too.

He’s playing due to depleted roster.

He’s a play specific type and will be a stud with some depth

No worried about defensive side.

You’re gonna have to have Honey Badger type ball skills and awareness if you’re gonna be that small, which he does not have.

Playing DB in this college era is VERY hard.....he has been exposed, but many DBs get beat these days.

LSU is spoiled in the DB arena....

I’ll say it again, he would be a fantastic RB. Use his size to his advantage and be a Jacquizz Rogers type.

Why is everyone calling him small? Dude is 5’11” and over 200 pounds?

He’s been compared to Jacquizz Rodgers and Tyrann Mathieu already in this thread. Do y’all use google?

I don’t get why people think he’s so athletic. He’ll be a decent player for us, but he doesn’t have the athleticism to overcome his size and be elite.

Needs to never be in man coverage on bigger receivers.

I think he is going to the portal. I hope not because he plays and works hard but he has limitations

He clearly got targeted by QBs when he was on the field. He just isn’t a quality starter yet
