I hunt northern St Landry Parish and part of the club is Avoyelles parish. Area 6
Our rut is usually 1st / 2nd week of January. January 6th is a full moon and I think if the weather is right that’ll get them going crazy. I’m not sure how many days you get to take off, but I believe a few days leading up to and few days after the full moon would be your best rut.
